Never tried a small amount, but have used it more than once. Just did some testing, its a $25.00 off $250.00 order, before tax and shipping, even if the discounts take you below $250.00 it still works.

If you have a Dell Prefered Account, you get $25.00 off of your order. Its like a Dell Credit card, even if you get a high rate, you can still pay it off when you get your first statement.

Don't forget another $25 off if you use DPA, its the only reason I have the DPA. I just pay it off when I get my statement.

Yeah I got the same one, but didn't get the second one, until a few hours after I got BOTH emails regarding the new second order. But it was a different type of email, no graphics like the second email from the second order, Just a text email with my order numbers. So you may still get it.

Yeah had to reorder it without the coupon which i'm supposedly getting back (emailing back and forth with customer service right now). So we'll hopefully get it all straightened out. My lesson is to always save my carts before checkout, and save all emails from Dell.

I ordered mine, on Friday night, the order disappeared, received the first email, no second. Called customer service on Monday, they told me to reorder it. The second order showed up almost immediatly (both emails), and was forwarded to UPS that night, waiting for tracking number now. So looks...

Yeah, if you order it from the main page, where you can customize it, Dell considers it a "system". If you order it through software and peripherals, its considered a peripherial. Shipping is higher too if you order it as a system. Don't ask me why that is.

Didn't check ebates cause it was only 2% but supposedly with fatcash you'll get your 3% paypaled to you after 90 days. Then you can get yourself a check from them. Might as well try huh? About to pull the trigger, unless I can find something else to try (That whole procrastinating thing again) ;)
