Just wish they would offer standard shipping at a cheaper rate. I'm not going to shell out $8.95 to ship anything less than $100. $3.95 for standard shipping? Could still entice me if the deal is good and I can use my Flooz.
Aceman,
Also took advantage of that Easy CD Creator 4.02 for $10.97. I'm kind of wondering what the deal is with it since they also list it (with the correct spelling) for $75.96.
Wonder if it's some kind of OEM software that's supposed to come with TEAC recorders (since the listing says...
It was just in Wards' sales circular in this past Sunday's newspaper. The store's website www.wards.com has a link to that circular if you need a copy. They only sell a few things online and the Web TV is not one of them.
Montgomery Ward has Sony Web TV Plus advertised with a keyboard for $59.99. My store was sold out of the "Plus" package, but said also tried to say it was a misprint and it was supposed to be the classic version with a keyboard. The Plus version w/keyboard is usually around $199. Even...
Actually, if you want Star Wars Racer for N64 go to your nearest Electronics Boutique or EBX B&M. They have it free after rebate in their most recent coupon book / magazine.
I'm pissed because I bought this printer AT a Best Buy B&M store at their day-after-Thanksgiving sale for $59.99 - $40.00 rebate, which equals $19.99. I would have rather bought it on their website for $19.99 without having to deal with the rebate (and possibly make money, too!)
I personally think the best deal for me was the Questlink/Netbuy $175 off $200. I got myself a 17-inch monitor and some software for $35.
Runners-up:
Getting both a cordless keyboard and an I-Feel mouse from Equalfooting/Staples for $20 total after rebates.
The D-Link MP3 player and a 5-inch...
Don't waste your time. I got one thru a B&M store and it blows. Takes forever to run and once it's running, there just isn't anything worth the effort. They say it's worth $200 in their ad. That's a joke. It's worth about 2 cents.
Just got off the phone with their RMA department. They are allowing me to return my DMP-100 in exchange for the DMP-110, which is USB and HOPEFULLY will work better. They are charging me the difference in price, which is $29.00.
BTW, the toll-free number for D-Link is (800) 326-1688.
Actually, I had a question if D'Link does allow me to exchange for a CD/MP3 player. Does anyone know whether CD/MP3 players can handle multiple session CDRs? Or do you have to burn 100 MP3s all in the same session if you want to listen to them on your CD/MP3 player?
I can't seem to find this...
I talked to customer service again and since I have had so many problems with it, they MAY allow me to exchange my DMP-100 for a newer version. I would have to pay the difference, however.
The CS rep hinted to me that it would be better to say the retail price when I purchased it rather than...
Maybe we need to bombard their customer service with complaints regarding the communication problems, citing the fact that we know it is a widespread issue. I know they have (or are planning to release) newer models that use a USB connection. If they work better, they should allow us to return...
I too have had a lot of trouble getting it to communicate with my computer. It worked great at first. Then it didn't work at all. ECP was set up; tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still nothing.
I thought maybe it was the player itself or the cable. So I got their customer support staff to...
Flooz has some kind of a deal with AT&T offering Internet access for $4.95 a month for 150 hours (if anyone actually uses more than that it's $.99 each editional hour).
I'd love to do it because cheap, ad-free Internet access isn't that easy to come by. But unfortunately there's no access...
Excuse me Mr. Wangel, but if you had done some research yourself you would have noticed that the thread started by phoenixstar was posted at 10:29 a.m. Mine was posted at 10:28 a.m. So if anything phoenixstar should have done a search (but he was probably writing his while I was writing mine).
