Poll: Salary or Hourly Wage?

I'm salary, and it has cost me nearly $100k of lost overtime in the 7 years I've worked here, including one month where I worked at least 190 OT hours. No bonuses, lower-than-inflation raises, and work-load is always more than 40 hours.... What, me bitter?

Can someone recommend a wine to bring to a dinner?

I'll second both points. More specifically, I like Ravenswood Zinfandel (not white zin). Not as full bodied as a Cab, not as boring as Merlot. IIRC, their motto is "No more wimpy wines" - on sale this one's the best cheap Zinfandel I've had, and usually popular even with people who aren't so big...

At least you get ice at some point in the day. Ours has a short that causes it to go into self-clean mode (i.e. thaw) as soon as it dumps ice. Real useful "feature" right there ....

Classical Music: Why don't you listen?

One of the many problems I have with classical music is the effort to find it. Sure, you can go out and get a good Telarc, et. al. recording, but that doesn't mean you'll actually like the conductor's/orchestra's actual rendition. Take Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherezade" (among other spellings)...
