Upgrading KMS server keys

Has anyone here upgraded their KMS server to accept Windows 2012 R2 or Windows 8.1 ? Just curious if updating to new KMS keys will reset current count of activated devices ? Thanks

Console access at a remote switch, easiest way to achieve this?

the above works, or you can also get console server. Nice one has interfaces where u can easily view multiple switch/router boots at the same time.

Locating Firewall in a large network

Thanks for the input guys, so far what I've been doing is exactly what you've guys posted. Find what the MAC address and then search for it in the switch where I think it is plugged into. I wished there are a better way and quicker way to do this, but looks like there isnt any.

I have heard great thing about arista 10gb stuff. My resource told me that lots of ISP and IX's have been deploying Arista 10Gb stuff cause others have failed to meet their bandwidth requirements.

Adding a 3750X to an existing 3750E stack?

12.2(53)SE2 should work just fine. I've just recently install a bunch of 3750X's to an existing stack of the old school 3750 :). The main thing to pay attn to is making sure the software revision are the same and license.

what could cause a port to go from 10Mbps to 1000Mbps?

i've seen something similar when a pc with a gig interface is shutdown. The motherboard still pass power to the nic and the pc nic activity light is still on. In this case that pc connection is showing as 10mbps, i forgot if it was half or full, but I think it was half. When the pc is turned on...
