Did you guys get the news that Oblivion's individual object's shadow are gone from the final release. The game now looks just like a improve version of morrowind, not next-gen at all.
Heres a thread about it on another forum...
Yeah, X850XT and X1600pro/XT are in way different leagues. In AT's benchmarks, it showed that even the 6600GT beat it in many games. Also, the X1600 doesn't even come close to the 6800GT.
Hm..didn't they say that they'll start filling the backorders in a few days..does anyone have any idea when they are getting them..or if they are getting them at all.
Any time I check the task manager, it always say that only around 700mb of my 1024mb of ram are available. When I checked, I only had 1 program on, so I don't think its that. Is this normal or is there any way to free up some ram by tweaking (such as changing the pagefile or something)...
Remember EA's Madden 360 Demo and how "real" it looked, and now look retail version for 360, they look nothing alike (the real game looks way worse). I wouldn't count on Fight Night's graphics until it is released.
I don't really want to upgrade to 2GB for just one game..(Since I heard BF2 is the only game where 2gb of ram really makes a big difference). Is it possible to get decent frame rate (with minimum stuttering) if I play at 1280x1024 with 4AA/16AF?
