I am going to try a different agp card, put in my geforce2 mx400 in and see what happens. If not, it is a time to visit the computer shop for an upgrade. Thanks all of you. I will be on later to read more replies.

Mem, Now that you mention it, the fan right behind the cpu fan doesnt turn and I wonder if it is because of lack of power. Ill try to unplug some stuff and try a different video card etc. Thanks guys.

I am going to go out and buy an MSI motherboard, the Ultra2 BSR (wireless, raid, and usb2.0) and some ddr ram. Then try again. But I am going to try the other video card first. Thanks. Can anyone else comment on the compatibility between XP2000+ or higher and PC133 ram???

A7V133 on XP 1700+?

The only confirmed way to get an XP cpu to run on the a7v133 is with the revision of 1.05. and using BIOS 1.009. Let me give you link to a website that has information. I am running a rev 1.05. and 1.009 and want to run an XP 2100+ or higher if possible...

I ws just sitting @ my computer doing the following things: Web browsing (IE6), Playing MP3 (Winamp), and chatting(AIM). Now the problem/fluke: All the sudden the system didnt lock up, but froze. It just stopped, no signal to the monitor, all fans running (i think), pressing the reset didnt...

OK, I appreciate your thoughts on AIWA and I actually agree. I am not buying another AIWA or SONY product for awhile. I might ask my dad to get me a new Kenwood or something. Any suggestions on a good stereo system that will play cdrs?? I dont need any surround sound or anything like that...

Feel free to block this if it doesn't belong. But I dont know where else to turn due to the warranty issue (there is none). I have had this stereo for about 3 years, working great. I used to be able to play cds in it (at least non-cdr), but last night I bought a new cd and a laser cleaning...
