Christmas tree thread. Lets see them!

Ha, so it is actually for the dog as my home office has the cat food and the 80+ pound puppy dog loooooves to eat cat food. We did have a baby gate when the kiddo was, you know, a baby. However, when we got the 4 legged baby, we needed to change it up for the cats was they are getting older.

What is a "network appliance"?

My LG washer is on the network. It pings my phone when it finishes a load. No practical value. Except I get a wee bit of amusement in giving her grief about laundry from the other side of the world. Sorta makes it worthwhile.

I don't think they should automatically lose their spot. However, I do think Belichick should be banned for life, or at least a minimum of several years. Getting relatively minor slaps is apparently not sufficient. Seems bizarre that baseball banned Pete Rose for life for gambling; the NFL...

I owe Uncle Sam money this year, any way to avoid this?

I did that entire 1099 bit as well, and as far I as I could ever tell you cannot deduct your commute to your workplace as an expense. And, seriously, $300?? I'm not saying $300 is chump change (well maybe on ATOT) but at the end of the day, that is pretty much nothing for taxes.
