Use MBProbe or MBM. Both are better than PCAlert and work well with the 6309.

Epox just posted a bulletin saying that the A3D chip doesn't work with the KX-133 chipset. See:

MBM has a DIMM module to readout the SPD from the memory. HWINFO can also usually read the SPD info.

First, a V550 is a TNT not a TNT2. Second, I don't know why you expect that latest driver to work with the oldest BIOS. 5.22 works with my V770 (a TNT2) with the 1.5 BIOS (although I did lose AGP4). However, there is no discerable benifit to 5.22 over 3.68 with a TNT or TNT2 in 98.
