Hey guys, need a bit of a help here. I have a windowed case and I want to replace the stock fan on the AMD heatsink with a custom LED fan, but I am having a real hard time removing it - there are 4 clips on the side bbut the fan wouldn't move even if I pry the clip open.

Just a side note, the peak transfer rate seems to be normal... file transfers between the MaxLine III and other devices are very fast; but it kind of chokes when multiple access to the HDD is requested... humm...
Umm well this MaxLine III just got to me today, it's brand new... if I am that unlucky as to get a brand new drive that's about to die... err, oh well.
And yes the chipset drivers are installed... :/
If the hard drive is still recognized by the OS, you could try a data recovery software like R-Studio to see if the hard drive can still read anything. With luck you just might be able to pull most of the stuff back - I pulled pretty much all my data off of a dying IBM once - it was already...
