I ordered both 700m and 8600. I keep 700m and just returned 8600... and yes they also offered me $50 to keep it which is not possible since it freezed once the video card (9600) gets too hot. :|

i agree... in fact i have only recived one rebate from officemax... others gone.. or it may be just me. i stopped buying from them since last year, i was going to get a hard drive for cheap and i was the first one to get in, they said someone bought it before me... and there was only one drive...

Refurbished Video Cards

I think I bought at least 5 refurbished video cards, 4 motherboards and 4 CPUs from Newegg... I only got 1 bad video card (GeForce4 4200)and 1 bad motherboard (Abit NF7-S)... not bad, just need to pay shipping back to them to get refund plus 15% restocking fee...

akom is part of abit according to a chinese article i read.. it is the 1st board of this new company, it doesn't say when it will be released, but the price is around NT$12000 (USD$342)... oh! a SiS305 PCI video card comes with this board since there is no AGP...

Last December I bought a new mainboard and returned it with no 15% stocking fee... on 1/13/2003 I returned a mainboard from the refurbished section... they charged 15% restocking fee! :|

i ordered 2 on 19th.. and dell shipped both on 22nd.. i think i'll be getting those soon since i ordered 2 WD 80GB before and they arrived in 2 days..
