Input on LCD Brands Plz!

I have NEC 1760NX and it's excellent. Movies, games, office, Photoshop - you name it. No comparison with CRT (I had a Philips 19'' brilliance before NEC) whatsoever. Your eyes will thank you everytime you sit in front of the screen.

Hi, I have the same dilemma. If you don't need tuner capabilities, I suggest you buy 9800 VIVO (I will).

Best wireless headphones

Hi, I recently purchased Sennheiser HDR 65, and they are GREAT!!!! They aren't cheap, but the sound is excellent, interference is almost nonexistent, design is great and they are very confy to wear. Try them out.

Well, I'd go with Athlon (faster), especially if you don't plan OCing (hard anyway with 1.8 non A)... As for video, a computer must be balanced (no bottlenecks), so card is very important, but all other parts (like CPU, RAM etc) are also. The difference from TNT2 to 4200 will be huge, and...

Good one, THUGS. Maybe one thing missing though: since many users don't put the retail HSF on by themselves and only later decide to switch, is there any advice you can give on removing the HSF and not destroying the precious CPU? I think this could help a lot of people.

w/c mobo to buy

Well, considering your card I would definitelly buy a mobo that has a fixed AGP/PCI frequency (you should be fine). I have an Asus P4B533-V and it has everithing you need to overclock (including support for DDR333 - 4/5 divider), even though it is somewhat pricey. The integrated Intel video is...

Well, as far as games go, Grand Prix 4 is one of them. As for apps, from Photoshop to DivX encoding, 3d rendering etc. all need as much CPU as possible......

What 845G boards have BIOS support for PC-2700 DDR

The main thing is the 4/5 divider which enables you to have 333 DDR (166 MHz) at 533 MHz FSB (133 quad pumped). Almost all mobos with 845G have it, and probably all others could have it if it wasn't for Intel.

Finally decided on Epox 4g4A+. Now which P4 processor?

:D OKIDOKI, I suggested you to read something I did not read for a week. It would seem that the mobo is better now (no wonder, with Epox building their name on OC, they had to do something fast). Still, be careful not to get the "old model". Good luck with your new rig.

Finally decided on Epox 4g4A+. Now which P4 processor?

I was deciding which mobo to buy a few weeks ago, and decided on Asus P4B533-V, even though it was much more expensive (none of us is rich enough to buy cheap stuff :D ). Check out The EPoX 4G4A+ seems very promising.

BillDKiller, if my memory is correct Epox 4G4A+ has a problem with RAM overclocking (look for threads on this forum). This is supposed to be because of a missing power connector. ActiveX, P4 runs at 400 MHz (100 Mhz Quadpumped) or 533 MHz (133 Quad). The reason for not supporting is Intel...
