I ordered the 560gtx ti. it was 229$ after Mail in rebate.
The reason being is that after going over everything last night in my machine, I'm probably going to get a new motherboard/CPU/ram in a few months. thanks for everyones help.

thanks! I use to have my CPU overclocked, however my motherboard has an external button to reset my bios. After it got hit a couple times by the cleaning lady, and a few more times by my twins I gave up and run at default speeds now.
1600x1200 is my main monitor, but it's dying slowing. I'll probably buy a 1900x1080 monitor in the next month. I run dual monitors the second monitor is 1280x1024.

this might change your mind about removing the heat sink/s. I guess asus put some pretty stong stuff on the heat sinks. but look for your self.
