    System Powers Down During Boot

    So if it's the motherboard, why was I able to get as far as I did? Any idea what exactly causes the system to power itself down? I also tried lowering the core voltage (from 2.2V to 2.0V; I assume I shouldn't go too much lower than that...) as suggested by corky-g. This didn't cause any change...
