Something along the lines of this one works fairly well for a beginner and is much less expensive than the one above. Whatever you choose, I highly recommend a self/auto leveling bed.

You may already be doing this - but often there's 2 (or more) choices for EXPO or DOCP. The 2nd one, labelled with II at the end of it, sets more of the voltages for the RAM parameters. I've found it's the better choice for getting RAM to work the way it should.

If you have win 7 installed on an MBR disk, the easiest way would be to use mbr2gpt.exe. If it's not part of the win 7 install, booting from a win 10 or 11 USB...
Most new boards that update through Windows actually just do the setup for the update in Windows and then reboot to do the actual update. I still prefer the BIOS setup menu method myself. Less to go wrong,
