That means actually having to make up my mind :eek:.
Since it's mostly an installed software drive, read speed is probaby the biggest issue, and reliability is necessary (can't have the machine dead). Write speed would not be paramount. And I already gave the budget for this item.
At the moment, what does everyone think would be the best choice for an SSD? I'm looking at the 120 GB class. Also am strongly inclined to go with a SATA III interface.
I'm looking hard at the Crucial M4. I looked at the OCZ Vertex III, but that seems to be not ready for prime time yet...
Brand new on 'egg. I've had a MSI board for years now (machine being replaced, with not a hickup). Was looking hard at the P67 version of this board when the recall threw the breaks on the build. Now they have a Z68. Price is about where I want it.

Other than power consumption, what advantage does ARM have over x86/64? I haven't heard of any. Most of the server world is going x86 from RISC.
I think they have their own markets, and will likely stay that way. X86 will continue to dominate the notebook/desktop/server market, and ARM will...
I doubt there's anything hazardous in there. Probably some good, recoverable copper and aluminum. If you recycle metal where you are, toss it in there.
