Methinks there might be something fishy about that farm - like it's VMWare or the like with a couple dozen virtual machines running on just one or two actually machines.

All emails from my company email server to AOL getting rejected

We're a small software company with some clients and investors that use AOL. We tried to send an email to them, and they ultimately (like days later) came back undeliverable. I tried sending one to my Mom's AOL account, and it also bounced back, yet when I use my gmail or Comcast account, they...

Apparently IP Cameras send so much data, that the SW considers it a DOS attack. Allegedly there is a "hidden" page that allows altering this behavior. Anyone know where this is / how to get to it? Thoughts?

Wicked virus

Some virus that regenerates random alpha character named EXEs is plaguing one of my systems. I've used SpyBot, Ad-Aware, SpySweeper, Norton AV, TrendMicro Housecall, AVG, all with latest definitions and even manually hacked it out of registry and folders. It keeps coming back. It's not...

INACCESSABLE BOOT VOLUME

Got a Dell laptop that starts loading XP Pro and then blue screens with INACCESSABLE BOOT VOLUME. Safe Mode and LKGC do same. Drive seems fine and I can read all files with Knoppix. How do I get XP happy again and keep my system intact? Thanks, B

Passing username and password in URL

It's generic - no specifics required, thus not really "blind" fix. Server didn't change - it's Linux. My desktop, Win2K Pro, received a batch of updates this week from Microsoft and now it does work. I can setup another Win2K box pre-fixes and see what update broke it.

Until this morning, I used to be able to add ?login=name&password=password to a URL in IE to automate authentication. Anybody know why this change and how to work around?
