Thanks to all who posted info... I was hoping to drop a 5700g into my Asus B350 ROG Strix, sounds like I need to start researching Alder Lake this time around.

I still have a BenQ elevator music stuck in my head, 15 years later, from being on hold with them for 60+ minutes. BenQ BenQ I'm so craaazy... crazy in love with yooou... BEN-Q! Hopefully it's better now. God, how I wish I couldn't still hear that awful song when I think about that.

Daisy chain switches or bash a hole in my wall?

The switch arrived and is installed, as you all said there is no noticeable ill effects. Thanks for saving my wall undue harm and hours of frustration. :)

You're partially right... Lifeline started in '84 (Reagan), which subsidized landlines to low-income people. In 2008, it was expanded to anyone receiving food stamps and to cover cell phones. Now, what about Tracfone - a (the largest?) provider of these gov't subsidized mobile phones...

I do not. Having paid for both a land line and a cell phone, the former is vastly cheaper for local calls. The link below talks about increased cost of the program but does not appear to discriminate between increased cost and increased utilization...

Sounds about right... but even that will vary depending on who / how it's paid. I've heard the professional fee collected is usually ~$200-250.
