Thanks for your reply. I dunno if this is something you can answer, but do you have any idea what drive is likely to be sent as replacement to a Force120? (I'm just assuming there are none of those around any more)

On your first question, the only difference should be that G.SKILL guarantees that the 4 sticks will work together. Personally I would consider it a non-issue in your case really. I'd say you can be 99.9% certain it'll work just fine getting 2 packages of 2 sticks instead, and save the 50...

Thanks for your answers. This answer confuses me a bit, is it based on RAID 0?. If I set 2 drives up in RAID 1, they should be complete mirror images of each other. If 1 drive dies, the other can take over. Shouldn't this mean that if I reinstall Windows, the 2 drives will now show up as...

Well, only other that could possibly affect my temps would be the case I guess, which is a Cooler Master HAF 932. Lots of fans, which keeps the inside cool. I think I simply have a very good chip. Seems to require quite a bit less voltage to overclock than most others I see. I ran it at 4.4 GHz...

How does this 2600K OC look?

Those temps looks fairly high to me, considering you got a high end air cooler. I get 60-65C under load, and ~32C when idle. That's with 4.6 GHz, 1.29Vcore (manual) and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 (which is a budget cooler for a third of the cost of a Noctua). Though with that said, I don't think...

How does this 2600K OC look?

Got a question about this. It's my understanding, offset means Auto +/- whatever your offset is. With your numbers, that'd mean Auto gives a ~1.1V, and then the +0.35 offset you have adjusts up to the 1.4-1.45V you mention. But, why would Auto voltage only be 1.1V on a 4.9 GHz overclock...
