Huge overheating problem at idle?!

Phenom 9850 BE at stock speeds, stock cooler, stock everything. That's running at idle. Also I have to have the case half open or it will freeze a lot. XP 64-bit. This means something is wrong with my cooling, right? The CPU stock fan is spinning. I've never (in my life) taken any CPU cooler...

Fan running loud, cpu temp high?

Seems to be steady at about 59-60 C. In the previous pic, while there are freq 0-3, freq 0 does not have a value while 1-3 do.

Connecting two comps for 400gb transfer

Multiple monitor problem

Update: Windows is detecting the two monitors fine, but CCC won't let it control them. I'm on XP 64 with 64-bit drivers and everything has been fine up until now. edit: For some reason windows now lets me work it correctly.

Enough with the HD 5850 and 5870 that appeals to 5%

Nobody remembers the 8800GTX era, when the 8600 GTS was midrange and cost $250 or so and had quite awful performance? Or the 8600 GT, even worse, for $175 or so? The 8800 GTX sitting at $600 and never changing in price. Those were interesting days.

ATi 5850/5870 review thread

No, the 5870 hasn't discredited itself by not living up the larger-than-the hype, the people spreading the hype have discredited themselves. When you take those over-sized expectations out of the picture and just focus on the card for what it is, it's a success.
