I think this is a pretty good deal since you get free shipping and a 4gb usb stick ($16.99 value) then a $5 MIR so $155 shipped after MIR. This 8800GS core is 580mhz and the other XFX 8800GS is 680mhz so this should overclock no problem.

They are talking about Newegg's policy with price in general, not regarding any EVGA product. I was the one who said the EVGA price went up, that's what I remember if it is incorrect then so be it. These are all good deals. Time to MOVE ON.
Your welcome Zap. I actually owned this BFG card when it first came out and it is awesome. Ran kind of hot because of the stock fan settings but it is nothing that Riva can't fix. I went back and played Fear and it was soo cool compared to my 7600GT....
The EVGA just went back up in price to $299 AR so now the price difference is about $24 after shipping for the BFG. Newegg also increased the price of several other 8800GTS 512mb's within the last few hours.
