This is a great thread, I had exactly the same stats (5'11, 215) at the start of 2003.... I got myself down to a more comfortable state (It was cheaper to get the fat off and than to buy more fat clothes), but lost the motivation for a while. This week I went back into motivated mode...

There were two people riding these down the sidewalk in seattle the other day..... I screamed out, "Owe my toe" just as the second went by and they almost crashed into each other......I wonder how soon it will be before we have laws that demand liability insurance if you are riding one of these...
Just a couple random thoughts:
A month or two before your contract is up you can start making deals with the retention dept. Just tell them that you want to cancel your phone service at the end of the contract. This also prevents them from calling your bluff, since you can call back the next...
This case and some of the others I have looked at have floppy drive openings that are not the standard 3.5 in rectangle. Is this pretty standard, just take the front cover off your floppy drive and it will work in this case? I think it would be fairly cheezy a floppy opening, without a floppy...

I have closed my E*trade account, and my Datek account. Both of them have too many fees now. I think they both used to be much better. For this deal it seems like unless you keep 5K in your account they will charge you $15 per quarter. I might be wrong on that but they seem to charge for...
