AT World of Warcraft Thread (Warlords, Where do you play, General BS and all that)

Full 660 now in conquest gear. Core RBG team will hopefully push tonight so I can get near 2k. Monday night was brutal. One major healer dc'd in one game, warlock ddos'd in another (still won mines 9v10), and queued one of the best teams in NA on the 3rd game and let them win.

Any disc/hunters with some 660 pieces not have a 3's team on horde? I'm a ret with 6pcs of 660 gear (chest/shoulders/legs/ring/trinket/cloak) + weapon. Would like to push 3's and it'd be quite easy if we tried.

Any of you doing any PvP Horde side? My ret in full PvP gear is ilvl628. Would ideally like to find a disc/hunter to just bash our face on the keyboards and grab a 1700-1800 rating in 3's.

Battlefield 3 performance thread

i7 950 8gb ram gtx 580 @1080p With the 285.62 drivers ultra/high combo was barely playable. Using the beta drivers and all high settings with no AA and it's playable. Quite disappointed in that I can't seem to run it higher without the game crapping out.

BF3 Beta reviews/impressions

I would really enjoy the game more if you didnt fall through the damn map or lose all your unlocks in game on the frequent dc's. Would like it also if they had 3-4 maps, not one meh one and one that is locked and always full. The changing settings only while alive is quite possibly the dumbest...

Hp 42" monitor!

One thing that I found nice about hp monitors is the ability to purchase an extended warranty at any point during the initial warranty period. I bought a 25" lcd dirt cheap from ultimate electronics in their last 2 days, and it cost me $22 to extend the warranty to 2 years from purchase date...

Not sure if he's ever done any manual backups. He's asleep right now, I can ask him through gchat later when he wakes up. Other than a backup though, is there no way to recover those files?

Asus direct CU gtx 580 owners needed for questioning

I haven't run furmark or any stress tests on mine, but from a gpu-z log the highest temps I saw were 53 degrees at 21% fan speed and 91% load. Depending on how high I have the heat in my apartment, it idles between 29-34 degrees. I haven't overclocked it yet either, so can't help you there...

GTX 580 issue with hdmi

Don't know. It's the Gtx 580 Direct Cu II. I haven't had any other problems with the connection and it's only on a cold boot which is weird. I'll try another hdmi cable, and if anything, could always get a dvi to hdmi cable.
