I just received an email off for Panda Antivirus for FREE. I just had to pay shipping.
Here is what I found. I added 1 to my cart and it was $4.85 and 2 brought the shipping to $4.95
It appears to add about 10 to 25 cents per copy added to the cart.
The software is the 2006 version...
I buy from them all the time. They has a retail store in Hawthorne, CA. They had a pallet of the drives and they seemed to have western digital shipping labels on them (from what I could see from a distance)
I have installed the first one in my PC with an XP Pro load and it loaded right up...
I just received two of these from an email on friday. They are no WD labels on them but my PC says they are Western Digital WD800 drives.
My price to my door was about $35.00 each.

I went in today and bought a socket 478 3ghz cpu in a retail box today for 175.00 to upgrade my pc. That was lower then I could find online.
They also had one marked 775? I am not familiar with that pin set socket?

I went to my local store in Torrance, CA and they told me that each store got three bundles for the sale and they sold thiers within 10 minutes of the store opening.
They have Half Life and a bunch of other software at about half what I find in Frys. I went to thier store yesterday and picked up Half-Life Two and Robots. Played Half-Life 2 last night after the two hours of installs and updates!

I do not know how good these are but I ordered three to have spares in the drawer. I always find I need one at a bad time and spend too much, so I thought this was a good deal.

So based on the last post, there is no way to make a hot swap data drive? I really wanted to be able to have one with the operating system and use another to swap the data drive that was needed at the time. I guess that I will have to power cycle each time? Or can I just restart?

I was told today by someone that there was some software written for IDE drives to allow you to pull the drive out and initialize another drive without having to shut the system down. has anyone heard of this? it would make life great if it exists!
