We have windows 2000, and my friend doesn't have the computer passwords after screwing around with the logon users. Nothing seems to work. Is there a way to get inside the system by default, or is he just screwed. Is there a way to reinstall the operating system without providing a password...

Are you able to rename it in ME? In windows 98, you can't as far as I can tell.

Being A+ certified is probably worth more than $130 dollars, even if it takes a couple tries to pass, I don't think it's a big deal. Not that I think you'll fail, a well informed anandtecher should do just fine.
