If you're referring to the list that shows at the beginning of each match, the ordering goes by Tier/Class/Name. The fact that T-44 shows up has nothing to do with how the Matchmaker weighs the tank, and everything to do with the fact that T-44 comes before Type 59 alphabetically.

I bought a Type 59 after some debate and I have to say, I haven't regretted the decision. I have a T-54 and the Type 59 is somewhat like a stock T-54. The gun is better than the 100mm of the T-44, more accurate and fires faster. A T-54 would rip one of these apart though. I have Vents, Rammer...

I've had great success with the largest gun (85mm F-30 I think?) on the T-28, though I do sit back and don't charge forward. The T-28 isn't really a front line tank, too fragile for it.

I was surprised last night when my 100mm on the T-44 could penetrate the Lowes. A funny match opened when 4 Lowes on the opposing team started taunting us about how we were going to lose due to the Lowes. 5 mins later, all 4 Lowes were dead, and we went on to win the match handedly. KV-5s on...

I see numbers like this and I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Even on a good match and a win with my T-44, I only get maybe 20k profit and I'm on premium as well.

So how far can one move wrecks to get them out of the way? If just a little then it's not too helpful so blocking mid is still valid. If it's angel dependent, then I'm sure one can find the necessary angle to move it forward. If it's leashed to the point of death (which would not make any sense...

Do the wrecks still block shots? If so, American tanks or tall tanks in general just got a huge boost. Before hiding behind wrecks was a good way to defend. Now, if the wrecks can be pushed, wrecks would be mobile cover/bunkers.

In my experience, I've done way more than that per shot, at least on the KV1 with a box turret. Hitting them on the side of the turret generally netted me upwards of 10 to 15%. Combined with the high ROF and accuracy of the 57mm, taking down a solo KV1 shouldn't be a probably as long as you can...

I found that I do the most damage with the 122 U-11 gun. 10-15% off of a IS-3 per shot isn't bad at all. I've almost taken down IS-3 and IS-4s with it by hiding behind cover. Best match was when I held off 4 heavies and 2 mediums and a TD for a win.

That basically happened to one poor KV last night. I was on a desert map, forgot the name, had sand dunes. I was the only one on the south side of the map, when a KV and two mediums rolled in. I fired a few and managed to take down the two mediums before circling and finishing the KV in short...

I love fighting KVs with the KV-2 turrets in my T-34 or T-34-85. If I have enough room and the KV is alone, it's probably dead unless I was heavily damaged already. Even at distance, as long as I shoot for the side of the turret, I know I'm going to do some good damage.

Just unlocked the T-43 right now for Russian Mediums, though playing with a friend of mine makes me want to check out US Mediums. The appeal of a good gun is tempting...
