Best USB TV Tuner for Windows 7/Vista?

Hmm, that's funny. I have the thing and having the opposite issue. ATI MMC doesn't work with crap for me and I've long uninstalled it. Windows media center works great for digital signal. GP-PVR also works awesome.

9700 Pro AGP vs 5600 FX 256

I've had both, and yes the 9700pro is much faster. Heck, if I remember right even the 9600 pro is faster than the fx5600.

They will always give you store credit first, with hopes you'd purchcase from them again. However, if you chose to do an actual return, just take that large store credit sheet of paper to the cashier and they will refund you via what ever method you paid with.

ATI X1900XT vs 8800 GT

It's definately noticably better. You gain about two resolutions level or more in newer games. Like if you're stuck at 1280x800, now you can handle 1680x1050. I just did the same upgrade two weeks ago. I'd say it's worth it, I sold my x1900xt for $60 and got a used 8800gt for $90. Definately...

How does a GeForce 7100 compare to a FX 5900?

Maybe in true DX9 games where both would perform horribly and it'll be the difference between 5fps and 10fps. In general, no. Anything the fx5900 can run it should run better just because it was an ex-high end. Low end video cards haven't really made much of a head way in terms of performance...

will 8800gts play CS:S @ max @ 1680x1050?

You should be able to...because my x1900xt can. My frames are pretty much 90% of the time at 60fps and may take dips down to 40-50 when there's like a billion flashes/smoke grenades going off.

You'll do fine, my x1900xt runs it great at 1440x900 with max settings. Typically ranges from 30-60fps, mostly at around 45fps.
