i4790k - which p97 to get

I went with the ASUS Z97M-PLUS LGA 1150 so far so good. I donot OC, so was looking for a good board with some options. Built it 6/6/14 and been running since.

I5 with 770 or 780

Well cannot return for refund, so guess I am stuck with the GTX 770 4gb. Now I am currently running a Radeon 4850 (playing Titanfall, Watch Dogs) so if I see any improvement I think I'll be happy :)

How come nvidia had nothing to show at Computex??

You know darn well that when the capsule drops back to earth, they will be playing Titanfall on it :)

I5 with 770 or 780

I did make my purchase :) Skipsneaky2 - thats the one I went with, EVGA FTW 4GB GTX770 for $394 plus $25 rebate card and free Watch Dogs. I looked at the 290, but nothing came close to the $400 mark when I was looking.

thanks for all the information and help. After double checking it looks like I had my numbers little wrong and the 780 is $110 more, I believe I was originally looking at a 780 refurb which is not available now. With that, I ended up with a 770 4gb and the I5-4690 3.5ghz. I save little and...

I5 with 770 or 780

My cpu is a Core i5-4670 Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 I can get a 4gb GTX 770 or a GTX 780 for about $50 more. Question is it worth it. Would my cpu bottleneck the 780? I will be provided playing Titanfall and Watch dogs at 1920x1080 or if I can 2560x1440 Thanks for any help :)

gaming laptop under 1500 give or take

I am looking at the samething you are, you did not state screen size. I am going with 15'6 for more portability. I found the MSI I am liking from the reviews. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834152566 its $1699 they have a $1599 version with 12gb ram and a 750gb harddrive...

2560 x 1440 - video card ideas

My current plan is to go with a GTX 780 as my mATX case is setup for single gpu. Will that be enough to game, mainly fps Titanfall..etc at 2560 x 1440 resolution? Should I go with the 780Ti instead or maybe duel GTX770's, I prefer single gpu if possible. However I have never ran at that...

Asus Gryphon mATX and Zalman cooler

Thanks for the reply. I typically just stick to 1 gpu, however I just purchased a new monitor that will run 2560 x 1440. Going to post some questions in the video section. I did look at the ITX, but the case I chose has lots of fans and can move some good air around which is what I needed.

Web beater? Going to my main gaming pc. i5-4670 500gb Sata EVGA 780 16g Ram Surfacing web should pretty fast :) I am limited on space in my desk, hence the mATX. Needed something to run Titanfall :)

Thanks for all the responses. This is part of a complete rebuild, going with a, I5-4670 3.4 Asus Gryphon board ...etc I think I will go ahead and start the build with the GTX 780. Not going to wait much longer :)

GTX780 or wait?

I am running a Radeon 4850, ya its old. It did run Titanfall on all low settings, which kinda surprised me. thats kinda what I am thinking too, 6-9months. decisions decisions, do I suffer with the 4850 in Titanfall which will be my playing game for 6-9 or bite it and get the 780. thx
