NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX vs. ATI Radeon X1800 XT

nVidia all the way. X1800 performs good but there's just something "missing" ...it's big, loud, runs hot. Not to say nVidia's doesn't run hot and isn't loud, but it seems more mature and less shoved out the door.

PSU for my new DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra D

I just ordered an Antec TruePower 2.0 550W to use with my 7800GTX. Both have already shipped and after reading this thread I'm a little nervous. I have no previous experience with Antec, I hope I made a good choice.

Connecting 7800GT to PSU

It doesn't matter which 4 pin molex you use. +12v2 is for the CPU and mainboard, so I think peripherals and molex connections will be on +12v1. Anyway, I have this same PSU and I have a 7800GTX on the way and I have my doubts this PSU can handle it. I've searched all over google and I find many...

ATI's X1000 bound for AGP market

The x1600XT is decent but very odd, it loses to an X800GTO in some benches and beats it in others. I'm pretty sure I saw the benchmarks at x-bit labs, on their huge video card roundup.

Whatever you do PLEASE take the advice and get that Antec case. If you try to run that on what pretty much amounts to a 10-15 dollar PSU it'd be like damning your machine to the flames. :)
