Is Windows XP going to be unavailable?

Maybe not retail, but XP will be available on the net for quite a while, as they are going to support at least PRO for seven or more years. Word has it, they also extended the other os support too, in view of all the upgrades that were sold. If you look hard enough, you can still buy W95 or 3.1

Upgrading from Win XP Pro to Vista Home Premium

There's a CUSTOM install, that basically rolls all the old junk into a seperate folder, and then does a clean full install of Vista. Or you can use the double install routine rolling around the web.

Anyone else having issues with Moduslink?

Do you have the software installed and activated? If it's not, you can't get the coa verified, until you install the qualifying software. Some have CLAIMED they got thier upgrade coupon threu without having the softwarte installed, but it wouldn't verify for me until I installed MCE2005. Keep...

Anyone else having issues with Moduslink?

I think those are a little old. Our thread over at Hardforum is starting to show that some of the guys are starting to get thier upgrades.Mine has been confirmed and validated ,and they say 4-6 weeks before I have it.

What are the legalitites of using any XP CD to do an install on any PC?

I'm sure you know that you can't mix versions, retail for retail ,oem for oem, and upgrade for upgrade, but I have never had an install fail because of using a different disc. It's SUPPOSED to be with the original software, but since the EULA allows for you to make 1 copy for your own use, I'd...

"Upgrade Anytime" disc??

An anytime upgrade disc can be used to upgrade Vista, by visiting MS Marketplace, and buying a key to unlock whatever your choice of upgrade is. Actually, ALL the versions of Vista are on that disc.
