new computer won't boot

MSI X58 Platinum mobo, core i7 920, OCZ StealthStream 600W. I can get the computer to boot without CPU power cables plugged in (of course it doesn't get far), but once I plug them in nothing happens. I've checked the CPU and it's in the socket correctly, so does anyone have an idea of what may...

Macbook:Pro vs norm; core duo vs core 2 duo

If you're willing to void the warranty, you could just get the MPB now + Ipod + Printer and cough up the $$$ for a Core 2 Duo once they go down in price after Santa Rosa comes out

***CONFIRMED*** APPLE MOVES TO INTEL - X86!

Nobody said they are abandoning openfirmware - they still might use their own proprietary BIOS. Even though a "preview" of OS X was announced for vanilla x86 processors, I wouldn't be surprised if the final version only runs on Apple's special hardware.

Returned the Radeon 9800 Pro. Need suggestion from NEWEGG.com

You probably just got a bad card... as long as you have a semi-modern motherboard, theres no reason why it wouldnt just "not work" unless there were driver issues, which a windows reinstall would help anyway.
