    It's funny how most of you ingorantly say Caltech. Caltech has a program that's ranked lower than that of UT-Austin, and they don't even have a real "computer science" major. Personally, I'd say: MIT Cornell Rice Stanford Berkeley Princeton UT-Austin Carnegie Mellon U.

    Computer for college...Laptop vs. Desktop

    I have a desktop, but I regret purchasing it, so I'm saving up for a cheap laptop to supplement it (although I wish I had just initially gone with a big laptop). It depends on your preference and what you would use it for; also, see how connected your university is in terms of wireless, etc...

    Another quick question (along with my comment in my post above): What's a sharpening "radius"? Is that the thickness of the blade?

    Oh, ok. I thought it should be sharp (much like a thin knife)...but I guess it should be flat at the bottom (which may mean my skates are presharpened, although i find that hard to believe that the manufacturer would do that).

    I take it it shouldnt' be flat (1 or 2 mm) on the blade bottom (that's how I got them, brand-new). Doesn't seem sharp at all. Thanks for the info guys! P.S. Unfortunately, it costs $8 at the local rink to get them sharpened...if it was $2-$3, I'd be a happier camper.
