Help Motherboard boot problem

Hello, I just tried updating my Asus M2N-E bios to the newest beta version, 1401. It said that it wrote the bios completely, but could not verify that it had been installed. I restarted the computer and now the green light is solid on the board, but when I turn it on, it turns on for maybe 3...

Vista upgrade quesiton

Hey, i was wondering if i buy the vista home premium upgrade if it comes with both 32 bit and 64 bit versions? I was going to buy it online then download it. Any help would be great. thanks!

Would this cause a problem?

Hey there I have 2 gigs of ocz plat xtc ram and was thinking about buying 2 more gigs of corsair xms2 ram to run together with the ocz stuff on an Asus m2n32-sli. Should I encounter any problems running these 4 gigs of ram, first of all from the motherboard and secondly from windows xp 32 bit...

Need am2 motherboard recommendation

Anyone have a recommendation of an am2 motherboard that will support the ram I have already purchased: ocz platinum edition xtc pc2 6400 I've read that some of these boards are having trouble supporting ocz memory? Any suggestions as to what to do? Thanks :)

Any issues running an ati card on an am2 500 series motherboard?

Was wondering if the ati products ran the same on the nvidia motherboard chipset or if its better to get an ati chipset board as well. Thanks in advance. :)

Singed pin on ATX connector of the board?

hi everyone, i was repiecing a computer a friend borrowed, and as i was putting the atx power connector into the motherboard from the power supply i saw that one of the pins appeared to be singed slightly, like it was burnt for an instant. Does anyone know what could cause this, and if its safe...

Thanks for the response, the thing is that with the stock cooler you can't raise the lockbar, its hidden underneath. You don't think there could have been damage to the motherboard? i'm not sure how the socketing works on the motherboard side, as I see when you push the lockbar down the cpu...

Hey everyone, so i'm taking apart my computer to transport all the pieces, and when i'm trying to take the the stock 939 cooler off of the cpu, it won't come, its stuck together. After tugging a bit it pops off, but it takes the cpu out with it!!!! The lock bar was down, and it still managed to...

Yonah and Merom pin compatible?

Will merom be easily dropped into the current yonah socket and the current intel chipset? Will it require a bios upgrade from the notebook manufacturer? Thanks.
