This is the one thermalright suggest and that I use. Keeps my oc'd opteron 165 nice and cool. It is a very quiet fan. This one puts out more air, but it is noisier. I'd only use that one if you have it connected to a good fan controller.

Officemax 1/18-1/24 AD is up!

The OM around here is usually out of everything, but I did get the 50 pak of DVDR's. Says 1x, but backed up using dvdshrink/nero at 2x. Plays just fine. And is it me but are all office max stores run by idiots who are not only clueless, but rude. Asking for any assistance is always such a pain...

Where should I put the temp. sensors?

Usually tape is included with something like that. Maybe look in the box to be sure you didn't overlcook a small plastic sheet. Otherwise electrical tape cut very thin will do. If you have an AMD cpu and if the wires near the sensor are thin enough, then place it under the cpu and thread the...

MBM hardware monitor?

None that I know of read from mbm, but there are some good hardware devices that will do that which fit in a 5.25" bay. The thermaltake hardcano's all have very thin fish-line type wire near the sensor so you can place the temp sensor under an amd cpu. And they have readouts on the front panel...

Thermaltake Case and HSF Experience!

Their cases are mostly chenming clones glossied up for thermaltake. They should be ok, just more gaudy looks than others. Their best heatsinks are the silent boost and the volcano/venus 12. Had a volcano 9, a total pos. For a better answer may I suggest posting the names of any you are...

Thermaltake Spark 7+ question

That's a 6000 rpm 12v fan, I don't recommend connecting it to your mobo. It can be done but you run the risk of burning out the header. Just daisy-chain it to a 4 pin molex. ;)

Only if ducting is being used. Even then most heatsinks like the slk series will still cool better blowing air towards the cpu. I've tried it both ways and that is the standard for good reason. I understand what you're saying, but with case fans behind the cpu and a fan on the bottom of the...

You want a fan blowing air towards the cpu when using a heatsink like the sk7. With most heatsinks you do want the fan blowing towards the cpu, with the exception of alpha and certain zalman heatsinks. Possibly a few more I can't think of offhand.
