Finally played Medieval 2: Total War after having it installed for the last couple of months. I started around 6PM yesterday and didn't finally force myself to stop until 1AM. Didn't seem like more than a few hours.
Personally, I'm a fan of manual fan control. I leave fans on low when I'm just surfing the net, then crank them when i'm gaming. It takes all of a few seconds to adjust this. This is just personal preference, though.
I have one of those Deltas with the highest CFM. I had it as an intake once for fun, and I swear it pushed air out of every tiny little gap in the case. Even slowed down, they're still loud/unpleasant to listen to. Still, I think they are a good fan if you're looking for industrial quality...
