CPU Coolers for X-Qpack2

I'm using a zalman 7000 and while I like it, from what I've seen they are not compatable with am2. Also, the designs with heatpipes seem to perform much better than a standard radial fin design. I see the Zalman 8000 around as well, and it would fit, but the numbers I've seen aren't that much...

Which micro/mATX/uATX mobo for an AMD 3600+

Xbox360/PS3 v/s This config for gaming

Random thoughts: For a video card I would wait for the 7900gs to hit newegg. The 3800+ X2 is a very powerful chip, but you probaly wont notice any difference from a single core 3800+ when playing games. The AM2 platform is nice, but not significantly more powerful than socket 939...

Best bang for your buck new PC build?

An extra $30 here or there wasnt in the original post. The parts were "Budget" parts, with better reviews than most of their "Budget"s. The reason I chose the Rosewill was the removable washable filter and 120mm fan, plus it comes with a rosewill psu that is 20+4 and includes pci-e plug. Tack on...

"Is there any reason to go socket 939 anymore?" Other than the amount of feedback on different 939 cpu's and mobo's, the am2 will cost you a bit more on the mobo and a bit less on the ram, evening out more or less. And the am2 board will be compatable with am3 cpus (Where did I read this?)...

What socket? 939 or AM2? What form factor? Atx or Micro Atx? I would go for a 6150/430 board in either case. They have the best onboard graphics you could ask for along with all the features you will ever need, gb-lan, 5.1-8.1 sound, etc. You can get a 6150/430 for under $100 shipped...

help buying mobo/cpu combo

In the end that would be your call. Used is used. I won't buy a used mobo, its the most important part IMO, it alone decides how powerful, upgradable, modifiable, and expandable your computer can be. Everything could work great for a week and then your lan dies... or sound... no warranty = tuff...
