For about 14days my bios shows this message after restarting pc. I do everything it needs to do, switch the two modes and after reboot the os starts normally. The next day, or after next reboot, the same thing again. Is it maybe related to some setting somewhere else that it keeps switching to...

Is there any way to get the whole filename to appear in WinExplorer instead of 1-2 lines with dots? It does show the full name when clicked, but I would like to do this for inactive files as well - all files. Is there any advice for this, for example by editing the Registry? Or some small sw fot...

Question IDM message about unable to download file

A great download program especially for offline video playback can't download anything from one place. See screenshot. This is the first time I see a similar dialog. Is there any way to fix it so it can download? A counterproductive question comes to mind, why don't other servers also solve it...

Question Where to download the complete MS Office2019/2021 for offline installation

Question File transfer smartphone->pc and vice versa

I need help with transferring files to/from smartphone using my own home wifi network. It should be possible to do it directly without other sw, but I'm used to SendAnywhere where it's really easy. But I don't know how to achieve the highest transfer speed, i.e. about 100Mbit (+-12,5Mbyte/s)...

Question OneDrive - complete uninstall +cancel OD desktop.

Question Sharing Win11-Win10 settings

When upgrading nb from Win10 to 11Home, sharing stopped working at 100%. I can get to the desktop pc as before, but not to the nb. It is a home network, nb is on wifi, pc on cable to router. Is it in some os setting that I'm not familiar with, or something similar? Sharing is set to all drives...

Question Small utility for controlling access of programs to the network.

Can anyone advise a program for monitoring installed software that tries to access the internet? Firewall in interactive mode can do this too of course, or Task Manager too, I'm looking for something specialised, with logging or statistics etc. Thanks for the tips Peter
