New Motherboard Issues (Asus P5B)

As previously suggested: please tell us if the Vista installation is from another computer or if you've installed it from CD in your new system. If it's not a new installation it would be a good idea to install a fresh copy of Vista or at leat do a repair install.

Trouble with Epox 8RDA3+ and 3d screensavers

I just got my Epox 8RDA3+ (nForce 2 Ultra 400), and installation and setup was a breeze - still no crashes after intense benchmarking. However, it doesn't like 3D screensavers at all! The moment you try to switch to any 3D-saver, like Aquarium from WinXP plus pack, it begins to stutter severely...

What do you think of the sound from the 8RDA+ MB?

Sounds nice (your post, that is, not the 8RDA+ which I yet not own). Are the sound chips/cirquits the same on the 8RDA and 8RDA+, btw?

Hehe, thanks man - I actually just realized that since the KT333 is essentially the same as KT266A except the clock speed, the performance difference between an nForce2 and a KT333 (with both running at 333 MHz FSB/memory ) should give a good hint of the difference between an nForce2 at 266 MHz...

Is a 4600 worth the money over 4400?

Well, considering how "cheap" the 4600 has turned lately, I'd consider it. I own an MSI 4400 myself and am very satisfied with it, though. Edit: It clocks to 310/640 without hassle, but not much higher, btw.
