You want use the cropping feature under the filters before you resize the movie. Unfortunately this solution is just about as bad as the others you have already attempted. While the action will usually be in the center of the frame, you might end up cropping some of it.
I prefer to watch...
On second thought.... I recommend GParted over Partition Magic.
BTW I forgot to mention it above, the Recovery Console is a feature on the XP CD, I assume MCE has it too.
You can use something like partition magic to remove the linux partition(s) and probably even merge it into your ntfs partition.
Then to get rid of grub/lilo you just have to boot into the recovery console and use fixmbr and maybe fixboot.
I can... Tabbrowser Preferences add-on turns this functionality on by default... its a great add-on as well... just moves a lot of those "about:config" options into the UI.

That and the ability to execute potentially exploitable code.... while a low risk, it still is one... which is why you should only install it if you need it....
OMG I hate bcdedit... was it really required to make a boot loader so ridiculous cryptic? Anyways, its much faster to try Vista Boot Pro First, I simply installed it once, copied the program to my flash drive and can quickly work with the boot loader on any Vista system. I prefer the command...
