Remove everything and reinstall windows. What does it reinstall?

Hi, I use IObit Uninstaller.. I does the removal and has powerful scan that goes into the registry to remove the rest. One thing is it may ask you if you want to reboot after the normal removal. Say No and the powerful scan will come up other wise you will not get the powerful scan.

SSD value

Hi, Generally you would move files not needed or needed when the SSD reaches 90% Also Nobody has mentioned Mushkin... I have two and 7 Crucial. Also Do NOT DEFRAG a SSD!!!

SSD Data Recovery - Translator Chip Shot

Hi, What you heard was probably the DVD powering up If it were a SSD you would not be able to recover any Data in Most cases... You friend NEEDS to buy an external Drive and learn to backup!!!

Is Evo Ssd fixed now?

Hi, I really think that a FEW might have problems as with all electrical and mechanical Equipment.. As for me I have bought and using Eight Crucial drives (from 120 to 512) and one Mushkin 480gb SSD.. I have not got a bad one... When you read forums you can't take their answers...

Switching HDD on laptop (please help)

Hi, Gizmo J, The reinstall disk and driver disk should cost you about $10.00 From dell. Of course you will have to wait for the mail to deliver it. They will only sell you the disks for what operating system the laptop came with... Otherwise go to ebay for dell recovery disks But...

Notebook keyboards - they just don't make 'em like they used to?

Hi, Stick with the business Class Note books!!! Even if you buy a used one one to two years old.. I bought a HP elitebook 8540p with a I7 quad core ( it has four memory slots) and can take a max of 16 gb memory.. Keyboard is great! and it now has a 256 ssd in it. runs great...

Win 7 doesnt initiate with cloned HD

Hi, At the shop I use Apricorn adapter with their software and the other one that I use Is Spotmau. Either one gives you exact clone without having to use a windows disk to do a repair to the boot mgr.

How to Unlock log file

Hi, I will give it a try and let you know how it goes. I want to acces the drives and Wipe them. I don't care about the data on them. Accessing them is the main thing so that I can do a full wipe of the drives. I hate to be burned buyin 2 laptop drives and not being able to use...
