Heh, its referred to as the "char-grill seasoning" in an advertisement I have here. I noticed it too, and it was delicious! I had the bacon cheddar (yes, real cheddar, not american yw crap) the other night and really liked it....but I'm a cheapskate and still don't think its worth the $3.49...

GTX 295 Warhammer Online performance

i7 not selling very well!!

Eh, I bought one :D Went from s939 to i7 920! But I agree, the main drawback in my decision to go with what I bought was the motherboard pricing. The DDR3 I can eat, I paid more than that for 2x512mb of DDR400 back when it was going strong - of course that was due to price fixing... But yes...

PhysX F.A.Q. Compilation of questions I am finding throughout the forum.

One question here - how does the dedicated Physx card behave when not in use? Does it turn completely off, saving power, until 3D drivers wake it up? Or is it running, fan and all, constantly? I have yet to put in an old 8800GT because the games I play now do not use this, but if it will not...

Same here, ordered very early but still processing, sent to warehouse. Maybe since the threads linked the SSC version (which I ordered) they got hit too hard, while other models shipped out asap. I did a direct Paypal transfer and bought 2nd day air in hopes, but no luck yet. To be honest...

OMGZOR my NEO! (matrix ftw) is 1.367x as powerful as your lowly Atom and uses ....ah forget it. I saw an Asus eeePC for $279 at Bestbuy over the holidays, great specs but only a lowly 4GB SSD with a linux variant. There have been similar deals on the MSI Wind and Asus 1000HA with cashback...

I would buy an i7 920 tomorrow, what I don't entertain is the thought of dropping $500 on a mobo/ram combo.

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 (910) Review

Wow I really want to get one of these netbooks from Dell, but their choice to go with a 4 cell battery hurts! I can get an AAO for $399 with Atom, 1gb ram, 160gb hdd, and a 6 cell battery....but the Dell looks more stylish, finished, and has no moving parts. They don't even have an option to buy...

RAID 0 crash - can I recover?

Both drives are 100% mechanically sound, my raid config just got screwed :( All the data is there, something just needs to tell my computer that! I'm going to try this raid reconstructor proggie.

OK, so I guess my computer froze one too many times over the weekend trying to play Conan and now my bootconfig is suddenly gone. Raid 0 Seagates on a DFI NF4 ultra-d, Windows XP Pro SP2 Froze a couple times Sunday while I was just using Firefox, restarted and ran an chkdsh /r, completed...

I don't have enough experience to say whether it is or not...I can just look at posterity and wonder. All the greats...Ford, Gibson, Spahn, Ryan, Young, Paige, on and on....did any of those HOF'ers blow out their arms and take off entire seasons to rehabilitate?
