Is the Phenom II X3 705e just an underclocked and undervolted 710/720

Isnt this what cool and quiet is for? I know this is better, but these chips should be all capable of running down to below 1ghz, if the mobo allows it.

Add 2x1gb ram or replace with 2x2gb to make 4gb total

Check with your motherboard, make sure either options above are compatible. Upgrading your OS to 64 bit can be a hassle unless you want to do a clean install now anyway. I dont think there will be any difference performance wise, not even with benchmarks, so I would go with what's cheapest.

To People Worried That China is going to Bankrupt Us...

Also, lets not forget with China's trade surplus, they are sitting on tons of US dollars. They wouldnt bankrupt the US because that would make their US dollars worthless. So can someone please explain how China can bankrupt the US? I've seen it said here many of times and I havent heard anyone...

Not really. I feel there policies are pretty similar, depending on whose in power. When abortion is the hottest topic to seperate the 2, there really isnt much of an idealogical battle.

How can China bankrupt us? Can someone explain that to me? They can't ask to collect on their loans early. FX manipulation? They are already manipulating it in their favor. I dont get it. I haven't read anything in any magazine that would suggest China has this ability.

What's with the 18 pack bottles of budweiser/budlight now?

Um, lets say 20 bottles were 18 bucks. Now lets say 18 bottles are 18 bucks. Same revenue, less beer = more profit. And since people are use to paying 18 bucks for beer, they wont notice a difference. Companies do this all the time and hardly anyone notcices, especially things like...
