game is installed on the SSD. fps drops noticeable as soon as the game starts. after trying to take out the harddrive, fps seemed to go back to normal, but then it would drop again. will go ahead and try the methods listed above, thanks.
any reason why putting in a new hard drive would cause games to drop in fps?
