Favorite Keyboards

I know it's a highly subjective thing, but what are your guys opinions on the best keyboard available? I'm looking to buy a new one... I really don't care about backlights, macro keys, LED displays, or anything remotely fancy or high tech. I'm just looking for a good keyboard for typing and...

Some form of external display

Thank you for the help Lonyo! That looks good, but I was looking for maybe a slightly larger display, more easily readable from across the room.

Slowing HDDs

Sorry about forgetting to specify the os. Im running winxp pro. Also, I'm using an antec sonata case, so the hdd is already mounted using rubber grommets. Thanks for the help.

This may sound like a fairly strange question, and I did a search, and was unable to come up with anything. Does anyone know of some tweak or software I can use to slow down the rotational speed of my hard drives? I sleep with my head literally 2 feet away from my case, and the high pitched...

Has anyone here taken the linux+ certification exam?

Not really related to linux+, but is it true that for the A+ exam, you need to pay $145 for each section (hardware and os)? If so, thats rediculous. Is network+ of any use? I'm a high school student essentially in search of some resume padding as well, and a lower level certification could be...

Huge Bit Torrent Site Shutdowns Suprnova.org, torrentbits.org, kerrazy-torrents.com ALL DOWN!

Isohunt is basically down. They haven't updated in a few days, slyck news said that they have recieved a "cease and dissist" letter, and all of the trackers they search are down. Phoenix torrents is also down. Tvtorrents is back, but these are undoubtedly dark times for p2p mavens.

Thats really great, I didn't know if such a strange overclock like that would work. Do you have any numbers about framerate differences in doom3?

Windows snapiness means very little to me. But, I just played hl2 for a few hours, and it runs pretty well on my current setup. I may or may not get the 2500+ mobile. Maybe once I get a bit more cash. Thanks for all the help from everyone.

Using pc2100 ram

Yeah based on what i've tried in the last few days, asynch is real bad. Running the ram at 133mhz while running the fsb at like 154mhz or so, I got about a 300mhz overclock, but after running benchmarks (3dmark05, cs source stresstest, a cs source timedemo i recorded of a 16 player botmatch)...

with the bus at 133, I wont get any clock speed boost whatsoever, will I? Edit: I wont be able to overclock much at all, will I?

Using pc2100 ram

Running asynch, the ram shouldnt actually matter, should it? Also, my cpu is the biggest thing holding me back. I've only got a 2000+tbred, but I also have 1.5 gigs of pc2100 (i get alot of spare parts from working on computers) and a radeon 9800pro.
