Is the Phenom II X6 1045t still good?

Thanks for all the replies. Like I said, my hard drive is about to take a dump and I figured this would be a good time to just replace the cpu/mobo as well, but if it can still be viable for another couple if years I'm just going to stick with the processor. Thanks again for the comments!

I have had the processor in the title for over 3 years now and it's been solid. Hit a modest 3.1 on air from the stock 2.7GHz. My hard drive is started acting quirky so a quick check using "diskdrive get status" shows up as "Pred Fail". With Win10 right around the corner I was thinking about...

Can anyone recommend some great co-op games?

Looking for some fun co-op games. Games I've played so far and loved are: Dead Island Dead Island Riptide Dead Rising 2 L4D L4D2 The Darkness II Doesn't have to necessarily be zombie ones, but I did get a kick out of Dead Rising 2. Thanks in advance!

Is that easy to do (turn it into a bridge) and can you do it with any router? Is there a difference between a bridge and an access point?

I just put my old xbox 360 in my son's room, but now it's too far away from the router to hook up via Ethernet. The Microsoft wifi adapter is still stupid expensive. One of my buddies suggested using an access point and hook that up via Ethernet to the xbox. Since I'm not good at all with this...

I find that high mileage cars can be a great deal, with a caveat. Engines are not the issue concerning miles- the rest of the car is. Most engines (even American ones) can easily go 200k miles. The problem is the interior will look trashed, or the headlights will fade/cloud over, etc. Personally...

Wireless charging - do you use it?

I hear ya. I'm waiting for it to break any day now to be honest. I was actually about to get the Lumia 1520 when I realized I wouldn't be able to load metrotalk since he took it off the app store.
