FPS games

i get 60Hz on my 22" monitor. i can game for hours no prob on quake3/4, warsow, cs, etc.... i got headaches when i first started playing games....but after some eyars ya get used to it :)

Halo 2 has gone gold.

halo pc port is AWFUL. my system (a pretty bad one) runs HL2/Source (much prettier gfx) at 960x600 at 80 fps. halo....i get 30fps everything lowest. it was fun the first time thru, then multiplayer for a bit...but the engine itself is terrible for pcs. EDIT: oh and btw, the netcode or...

How do you tell what resolutions your video card supports?

dude itll work fine. i have an FX5200 and i get 1680x1050 (not dvi tho)

What Power Supply for 8800GTS

Oh btw, ive seen guys run SLI 8800 gts' on a 500W psu. i wouldnt recommend it....im just sayin :)

Yeah ur power supply should work. u have two 12V's so u add them. 18+18=36A. more than enough for an 8800 gts.

1680 x 1050 - Vid Card, no gaming

im using an fx5200 on a 22" wide RIGHT NOW. 1680x1050 now\ problem....but DVI doesnt work. regular is just fine though.

CHIMEI 22inch LCD monitor

i have one. the 800:1 contrast ratio looks the same as my old 500:1 lcd. theres slight bleeding on top and bottom thats only noticable when ur screen is all black, or if ur watching a widescreen movie (borders are about 1 inch). the stand isnt as bad as i thot it would be, in fact i like it, its...
