Bought a GT240 to replace my 8600GT, stupid move?

I think getting a GTS250 is better than a GT240 GT240 is OK, but as my humble opinion, GTS 250 is more appropriate for your need.

Good 5970 vs. 480 reviews? Who's the peoples' champ

As I know from the internet, 5970 beats GTX480 and the other result is that 5970 > GTX480 > 5870 > GTX 470 > 5850

I just ordered a 5870...

As I read on the internet, this problem has been solved. If you meet this problem, only I can say is that you have bad luck XD. And I agree what darkangel said. Just enjoy ur new card!!!

5970 or GTX 480

Well, as i know, the score of 3dmark vantage in extreme mode is 5970 > GTX480 > 5870 > GTX470 > 5850. Therefore, if you wanna get better performance, 5970 is a good choice. However, you have pay more money on it XD. The price of 5970 on newegg is from $699.99 to $749.99, but all of them are out...

Best quiet video card for under $300?

5770 is a good choice. Gigabye, the bat man car style, or vapor made by Sapphire, Hawk for MSI, etc. These cards you can take them into ur consider.

Video card recommendation for WoW

Do you have the budget? If not , I suggest you 5850 is a good stuff. If this is too expensive for you, 57xx series is a good choice. 4670 is the lowest Vid card to play Wow.

Want to buy an ATI card, but having doubts

With DX11 and in your buget, ATI seems to be the only choice. As my friends' experience, the drivers of 5750 or 5770 is fine. Dont worry too much. BTW ATI is cheaper. Give them a shot XD

Need vid card replacement suggestion for 3 year old rig

Maybe 5770 is not the best solution, but it's a feasible solution in your case. Not so expensive and work very well!
