My hardware RAM drives boot Win7 fast. They are battery backed and survive reboot. I have a couple of these: http://techreport.com/articles.x/16255 and a iRAM.

Newegg has been out of stock for 2 weeks. I started looking around elsewhere and the model number SSDSA2M080G2R5 is coming up "discontinued by the manufacture". Newgg still has the 160GB in stock, but maybe they're just getting rid of old inventory? Is a refresh coming to Intel's SSD line up?
