4670k overclocking

Say i pass more stable testing at this setting, how important is raising the Cache Ratio to be higher? I know the optimal setting is 1:1. Is there alot of performance hit with cache ratio as low as 38?

Couple problems regarding define R4 after new build

really? my top panel somehow is not flat, the venting holes part can be pushed down and up a bit.... and guys its not overheating for sure, the freeze happens immediately happens when i turn the switch to 7V, not likely that any system can go from stable to overheat is 1 sec right?

just build a new rig with the define r4, there are couple problems i want to get some 2 cents on 1) when i connect the included two fans to the included fan controller in R4, the fans worked fine at 12v mode, but when i turn it down to 7V mode, the computer would freeze, shutting down monitor...

can i set the max fan speed to be lower than default? thus making this thing quieter at the cost of performance (i guess it will hit the thermal threshold sooner and thus sacrificing performance)
