Really? I've never had an issue with bouncing DC's. They do them one at a time, right? What is in your /etc/krb5.conf ?

If you are using Red Hat, then yes. I would prefer Likewise-open, but Red Hat does not distribute it. If you want to stick with official Red Hat packages, then Winbind is your ONLY option. FYI, Ubuntu does include Likewise-open, if you consider going that route. Although to be honest, I've...

Debian Base OS on RAID 0 + RAID 5 and VirtualBox vs. ESXi

I was doing it from a workstation with Active Directory tools and Exchange tools installed. But then I tried it on the DC and on the Exchange Server with the same problem. I can go into Exchange Management Console and add a mailbox to a user after creation, but it's a little disconcerting that...

Change default search in IE8 for new user

Yeah, it looks like I can use IEAK 8 to create a new installer with the customizations I want. I was hoping maybe there could just be an ini file I could edit or some registry changes. I guess I'll see how this IEAK 8 goes.

Cisco switch turned off a couple ports and won't come back on

I fixed this. I should have updated this thread right away so I could have given a better description, but basically I had to enable auto-recovery for Channel-misconfig. After waiting for the default time period (5 minutes I think it was), all the ports came back on.
