short freezes

BSOD Registry error

i have found the problem to be the SAM file, it was corrupt because the computer wasn't shut down properly during the logon. Is there anyway to fix the sam file.. i don't want to replace it because the administrator passwords on backup sam files are unknown. thanks

ok thanks, the registry was fixed, but now i cannot logon to windows, i don't know the administrator password, and it is not the one that i was using before

sorry, the problem is that when i try to enter recovery console it gives me the same BSOD.. are there any bootable programs that repair registry?

I lended my laptop to one of my roommates, and from now on i never will. But for somereason when it is booting to windows xp it gives BSOD with registry error, i tried booting into safe mode but still the same problem. Can anybody give a suggestion. it's IBM thinkpad R51 Thanks

Active Sync crash!!

I recently ran into problem of active sync crashing on me whenever i try to load it up. I uninstalled it and installed new and old versions, still crashes. Please advice on further actions.

dvd-drive not reading dvd
